Aloha, My name is Lokalia Farm & my other half's name is Isaiah Kaneakua. We are a Hawaiian family, born and raised on Maui. We lived together at Püehuehukai, Lahaina, Maui for about seven years. Before that, I lived there for the first few years of my life from birth. It was my late Tütu Kekulanamu's house, on land passed down from her grandmother Kekulanamu. I never would have imagined such an unfathomable loss, our home is amongst those that perished along with everything in it, including my car. It's so unnatural to use past tense terms about our home & what was, but it will always be my one hanau, my home since birth.
